Meet the Founder of Menagery
Rey Mena, CEO/Chief Creative
Rey is a dynamic executive who has served in numerous creative leadership positions throughout his career. As President & Chief Product Strategist for Emmis Interactive, Inc., Rey led the design and development efforts of a digital platform serving over 400 media properties throughout the US and Canada.
Prior to Emmis Interactive, Rey held senior leadership roles in broadcast industry and digital media. He has served as Creative Director on a variety of Interactive marketing campaigns for clients such as, Fox Television, Scion, Pontiac, Brand Jordan, Ford, Puma. Prior to making the move to digitial media, Rey was the Marketing Director/Brand Manager for one of the iconic Alternative Rock stations in the country, Q101-FM/Chicago.
During his career, Rey has been recognized with numerous industry awards for achievements in digital media, marketing and branding. In 2009, he was named one of “Tomorrow’s Most Powerful People in Radio” by Radio Ink, and in 2011 was a finalist for their first-ever “Luminary Award.” Rey is also the recipient of several Promax Gold Medallion Awards for Marketing Excellence.
Today, Rey is bringing a broad set of marketing, branding and consulting skills as well as his team of creatives to mid-size companies and help them effectively develop their brands and drive higher engagement through digital media.
